I’ve been a bit behind in the blogging game for the last few months, part of it has to do with work schedule, issues with hosting company, and blog receiving some unwanted attention. Regardless of what happened, things are back in order and it’s time to put forward some new goals for 2014.
Before we continue, I’d like to point out that the blog has a new domain name, which is now virtualizemydc.ca DC meaning datacenter and not domain controller, although a domain controller is virtualized as well :). Reason for the change is because my blog is concentrated more on virtualization technology these days and I wanted the domain to reflect this. Another reason for changing my domain was due to having issues with the registrar of my old domain, not going to get into that, but let’s just say that everything happens for a reason and I can start 2014 on a new note. So for those that still point to the old domain name (messaging-virtualization.com) please don’t forget to update your links.
Looking back at 2013, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute with a total of 76 blog posts (although not as much as some of the other bloggers out there). I also had the opportunity to work on some interesting projects at the office and of course obtain quite a few certifications. For those that frequent my blog, thank you for reading, your support is definitely appreciated and I hope to produce some more content in 2014, more specifically around EMC and VMware products.
To recap 2013:
- Total number of posts 76
- Achieved MCITP:EMA on Exchange 2010, Citrix Certified Administrator, Citrix Certified Advanced Administrator, VMware Certified Associate – Cloud/DC/WM
- Finally completed the vSphere 5.1 ICM course for the VCP (paid for it myself)
- Awarded the vExpert 2013
I also like to take the time to wish everyone all the best for the new year and hopefully 2014 brings you much success and prosperity in whatever you’re pursuing!
