As I am rebuilding my new lab, I was looking to install all of the latest Operating Systems and this includes Windows Server as well. If you own an HP Prolian N40L, you probably noticed that it has compatibility issue with the onboard NIC when installing Windows Server 2012. Some people got around this issue by disabling the onboard NIC through the BIOS and installing external NICs instead. However, to me, that is not really a good solution as I require to have multiple ethernet interfaces for my vSphere lab.
